A stunning and traditional fabric, long used for bridal fabrics and special occasions. Shantung is a type of silk plain weave fabric historically from the province of Shandong. It is similar to Dupion, but is slightly thinner and less irregular. Dupion has much more prominent slubs (those crosswise irregularities in texture) and is the thicker of the two materials, almost comparing to the feel of a light or medium weight taffeta. Shantung fabric is the perfect choice for fashion use as well as a great alternative to interior or events design.�

Washing Instructions:	Machine wash 30 degrees with similar colours. Do not bleach. Warm tumble dry. Warm iron if necessary. We strongly recommend testing a small piece first.

We are more than happy to refund faulty or damaged items. However, we can only refund cut fabric, ribbon or other cut or made to order product if the product is faulty or damaged, as we would have cut it specifically for you.
