Twist canvas is a special fabric in which two warp threads each turn around weft threads. It resembles the single-stranded canvas, but here the threads can not be moved due to the leno weave and result in a high surface stability. With canvas, "bars" refer to the threads which separate each of the holes in the meshwork from one another. A bar may be made up of a different number of mesh threads depending on the quality of the canvas. With mono canvas, a bar consists of just a single weaving thread. With double-threaded canvas, a bar is made up of two mesh threads. With twist canvases, a bar is also made up of two mesh threads, one of which is in twisted form.

As a general guideline, UK customers will typically receive their orders in 2-4 working days, European customers in 5-10 working days and the rest of the world in 7-12 working days. Of course, deliveries may take longer during busy periods, such as Christmas and Bank Holidays, so please be patient at those times.

Orders for a large selection of fabric may take longer to process, and we will let you know if this is the case. A daytime telephone number helps to contact you in good time in such cases.

In general, we ship orders using Royal Mail for both UK customers and customers abroad.

We hope you are completely satisfied and pleased with your purchase. However, sometimes things go wrong and we would like to rectify whatever we can.

We are more than happy to refund faulty or damaged items. However, we can only refund cut fabric, ribbon or other cut or made to order product if the product is faulty or damaged, as we would have cut it specifically for you.

Please contact us before returning anything so we can advise you on the best course of action.
