100% Silk fabric.
Silk Habotai, also known as China Silk Lining is a soft, glossy, very lightweight (4 mummy) silk that is used to line finer garments. This fabrics is also wonderful for silk painting, embroidery and needle punch or needle felting projects. Historical re-enactment costumers love this fabric since little has changed in its production over the centuries.

Washing Instructions:	We recommend, especially if you are re-selling, to pre-wash in hot water before dyeing or painting to remove any leftover residue from the silk worms (Seracin) or finger prints and other stuff that can cause the fabric to dye unevenly. If painted/dyed follow instructions of paint/dyestuffs used for future washing. We strongly recommend testing a small piece first.

As a general guideline, UK customers will typically receive their orders in 2-4 working days, European customers in 5-10 working days and the rest of the world in 7-12 working days. Of course, deliveries may take longer during busy periods, such as Christmas and Bank Holidays, so please be patient at those times.

Orders for a large selection of fabric may take longer to process, and we will let you know if this is the case. A daytime telephone number helps to contact you in good time in such cases.

In general, we ship orders using Royal Mail for both UK customers and customers abroad.

We are more than happy to refund faulty or damaged items. However, we can only refund cut fabric, ribbon or other cut or made to order product if the product is faulty or damaged, as we would have cut it specifically for you.
